For the past 20 or 30 minutes I’ve been talking to a friend about stuff I did before I came to LA. I have a degree in fine art, I was a rock climbing instructor who, at one point, wanted to be a marine biologist because of all my SCUBA experience. Then I decided I wanted to make my living doing search and rescue, so I could use both SCUBA and my rock climbing experience. I came to Los Angeles with my band (I thought I was going to be some kind of rock star I guess). It seems like acting/comedy was more of a last ditch effort than an actual career choice. Oh, and also, I went to military school when I was 16.
The many faces of me:
Military School Me (I’m in the middle, standing in back)
Rock Star Me (keep in mind it was the early 90’s - hence the grunge style shorts over sweats look. This was taken at the Roxy in Hollywood)
Art School Me (me sitting infront of one of my abstract paintings. why abstract? because I can’t draw!):
Rock Climbing Me (I saved the most shocking pic for last. This is me in Joshua Tree…yes that is me! God damn hippy)
Maybe Robert Zemeckis can direct the movie about my life. Eh, screw it.
I just turned on the TV to the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony. Is this a sketch? Quite the variety of headdresses and some dude dressed up like Chita Rivera.
Yow. Obama trying to put a medal around Steven Hawking’s neck = uncomfortable to watch.
