I started a drawing class yesterday at LACC. When I arrived. there were eight to 10, eight to 10 year-old-girls already seated with coloring workbooks and pictures of ponies at the ready. I guess they combined two classes and none of the other adults were able to make it.
This is my first attempt at a comic strip. The artistry is terrible but I like the idea. (Subtext: SOMEONE VALIDATE ME.)
#1 - I’M SCARED.

  1. liezlwashere said: Your artistry isn’t terrible. You’ll be in a better place when you realize that not all drawings have to be photo realistic.
  2. whetzell said: I like the character design. Solid computer made outline boxes will make it look more professional and maybe some minimal background element. I would try to frame some short stand up jokes you have into something around 5 frames or so.
